With the next few images, i am developing from just these images and other photographs to create my illustrations.

I want them to be from an interesting perspective.... thats why i have tried to see how they would look photography...
These are added because Martin Parr creates a sense of style about his subject and mainly thats British-ness but that's known just from seeing this however the comparison is that i wanted to get a point of subject across that the text and the lists are all that matters...

The next couple of images are some of Tracy Emin's hand rendered collection which fits in with form and rational of abstract-ness....

This is another sketchbook page about shape, landscape, typeface, serif/sans serif relevance/difference and the uses of them with all these elements combined....

These covers were recommended as it could be a point to start from and then build on the production of the final piece and how as well as what they are going to be.

And im loving the use of grammar but as an aesthetic value and it just breaks up the repetative-ness....

These are some other animations by Zeitguised, that heavily inspiring my ideas and work.

This is a sketchbook page of some of the ideas that i had from all of this along with some research injection: some animation by Zeitguised and mainly for Toyota (Aygo)

This is an image that was just stencil/ door/ window art for the advertisement of a shop in Manchester...
So the relevance of this is that i noticed that most of my list and continuous-ness, there were alot of arrows and icons that were used to show a flow on/developement of subject.

These are the lists that I started to write, about ideas and thoughts and process about Hybrid and the cities.

A part of my inspiration, for the set of 3- one for each city: Birmingham, Manchester and Salford. The knife and the fork represent the adjacent cities of Manchester and Salford and Birmingham being the spoon. I personally thought that it was fitting for the knife to represent the Salford, that portrays the crime, grime and underbelly of indifference to Manchester. From which that is represented by the fork because although its a developing city, with opportunities slipping out and comparison between old and new buildings either one or the other. And finally the spoon that is representing Birmingham because maybe its being a bit spoon fed and has alot of re-development, tourist areas/attractions as well as just being reputed as something that's not entirely what it claims to be but overall is a positive upcoming city that has aspiring prospects.

This was to show the relevance of the fork, spoon and knife that could be one of the elements that could connect the cities and creating a hybrid of words and subject together...

This is just another experiment I worked on to enhance and customize... but just with lettraset and cutting out, creating negative space.

A variety of text experimentations... Again using the Lettraset...

As I liked the cover of the new Muji Catalogue, I have customized it by cutting out, sticking existing things on it and adding text and lettraset to creating a narrative with the addition of text.

These are just a couple of images of the same Tracy Emin exhibition.
To me just expresses experiences and feelings every person, goes through making it relatable.

These are images from an exhibition by Tracy Emin that was held in Venice. The fact that its hand written, tube lighting and exposes the wiring, which personally is a touch of Bauhaus and makes it mores approachable and personal. Overall, it's absolutely stunning and extremely simple.
When I started working on this brief, it went to how the word(s) sound as well as the cities that were related to it and the basis of what ever our outcome. As a late starter and some major inspiration from fellow students but the research, ideas and the development were all rearing to go at every idea but the ideas just were jellying and feeling right...

Having heard "writers block isnt real" from Johnny Hardstaff himself, makes it even more frustrating as I could just get it done and dusted if I could confirm the direction...

From further discussions and attempts to start, I was locked in our auditorium and told just write out any thing and everything I thought about HYBRID, the cities, the similarities/differences, things i knew didn't know and the process behind my thoughts...

That itself was powerful enough to portray what i wanted, the personal connections between the cities...

The lists, writing, scribbles, arrows, connectors, development and change to subject; that was the exact thing I needed...

Now heres where I'm at along with regular research injection and evaluation of the stages...
